چکیده
Ray tracing algorithms, that can simulate multipath radio propagation in presence of geometric obstacles such as buildings, objects or vehicles, are becoming quite popular, due to the increasing availability digital environment databases and high-performance computation platforms, multicore computers cloud computing services. When vehicles moving, which is case industrial vehicular environments, multiple successive representations ("snapshots") ray runs often necessary, require a great human effort deal resources. Recently, Dynamic Tracing (DRT) approach has been proposed predict evolution within given time lapse on base current geometry, assuming constant speeds and/or accelerations for moving objects, using analytical extrapolation formulas. This done without re-running full every "snapshot" environment, therefore with saving. DRT embedded mobile system used real-time, ahead-of-time (or anticipative) field prediction possible opens way interesting applications. In present work, full-3D algorithm presented allows account reflections, edge diffraction diffuse scattering general where translate rotate. For purpose validation, model first applied some ideal cases then realistic results compared conventional simulation measurements available literature.

15 صفحه اولRay tracing of dynamic scenes
In the last decade ray tracing performance reached interactive frame rates for nontrivial scenes, which roused the desire to also ray trace dynamic scenes. Changing the geometry of a scene, however, invalidates the precomputed auxiliary data-structures needed to accelerate ray tracing. In this thesis we review and discuss several approaches to deal with the challenge of ray tracing dynamic scen...
متن کاملDynamic Acceleration Structures for Interactive Ray Tracing
Acceleration structures used for ray tracing have been designed and optimized for efficient traversal of static scenes. As it becomes feasible to do interactive ray tracing of moving objects, new requirements are posed upon the acceleration structures. Dynamic environments require rapid updates to the acceleration structures. In this paper we propose spatial subdivisions which allow insertion a...
متن کاملGPU-based Ray Tracing of Dynamic Scenes
This paper presents the design and implementation of a GPU-based ray tracing system for dynamic scenes consisting of a set of individual, non-deformable objects. The triangles of each object are organized in a separate Kd-tree. A bounding volume hierarchy (BVH) is built on top of these Kd-trees. The BVH is updated and uploaded into GPU memory on a frame-by-frame basis, whereas the Kd-trees are ...
متن کاملDynamic ray tracing and traveltime corrections for global seismic tomography
We present a dynamic ray tracing program for a spherically symmetric Earth that may be used to compute Fréchet kernels for traveltime and amplitude anomalies at finite frequency. The program works for arbitrarily defined phases and background models. The numerical precisions of kinematic and dynamic ray tracing are optimized to produce traveltime errors under 0.1 s, which is well below the data...
